Is NSUK admission list out for 2026/2027?

Admission activity for the 2026/2027 session is something applicants can already follow through the university’s undergraduate services, but that is different from saying every regular undergraduate list has been completed. A Predegree, preliminary or distance-learning application belongs to a different record. Even though all of these programmes carry the NSUK name, admission into one of them does not automatically become admission into the regular undergraduate programme.

Direct Entry applicants also have to pay attention to the route attached to their application. A page labelled First Year or 100L Clearance does not, by itself, prove that every Direct Entry applicant follows exactly the same process. Where the correct category is unclear, the applicant’s own acknowledgement and current university instructions are the better references.

For UTME and Direct Entry applicants, the relevant record is the one tied to the actual admission route. Holding a qualification for Direct Entry does not make an unrelated UTME registration number the correct record for that application.

What pending admission messages actually mean

Admission in Progress means the decision is still being processed. It is not a final offer, and there is no reliable 90-percent or other percentage guarantee attached to the message. Not Admitted means the checked record does not currently show an offer.

A proposed course transfer is another separate stage. The course being proposed should be understood first, and the final admission status should still be checked afterward. A transfer proposal is not the same thing as the final offer a candidate accepts or rejects.

Sometimes the NSUK record and JAMB record may not yet agree. If the university shows an offer while CAPS has not updated, both results are worth keeping. The same applies when the programme differs between the two systems. A payment does not automatically correct that mismatch.

If your admission has not appeared yet

A missing result is easier to understand after ruling out simple record problems. The academic session, applicant identifier and study route all need to match the original application. The screening or document submission required for that application also needs to have been completed.

O’Level records can matter for the regular undergraduate process, while Direct Entry applicants may have additional qualification-verification requirements. Those are different entry routes, so one checklist should not automatically be applied to the other.

Programme requirements can also affect admission. A score, subject combination or limited number of available places may matter, but a pending message by itself does not explain which factor is responsible for an individual result.

As long as admission processing is still active for the relevant route, the status may change. That possibility is not a promise that another batch will be released or that every pending applicant will eventually receive an offer.
