Witspot publishes education information to help readers understand requirements and make informed decisions. It is an independent publication managed by Masnet, not an admissions office or an official representative of JAMB, a university, a scholarship provider or another institution.
Verify information before acting
Admission notices, fees, deadlines and portal procedures can change. Before applying, paying a fee or accepting an offer, confirm the current requirements on the relevant institution’s official website or portal. If an official announcement differs from a Witspot article, follow the official announcement and send us the detail that needs reviewing.
No admission or scholarship guarantee
Reading an article, meeting a general cut-off mark or following a guide does not guarantee admission, a scholarship or another award. The relevant institution makes those decisions under its own requirements and selection process. Witspot does not collect institutional application payments or issue offers.
Estimates and previous-session information
Where an article discusses an estimate or an earlier academic session, that information should be read with its stated qualification. It is not a substitute for a current official requirement. Report any passage that presents an unconfirmed detail as official.
Links, names and reader comments
External websites operate independently and have their own information and policies. Institution names and trademarks remain the property of their owners. Reader comments express the contributor’s views; a comment is not an official announcement or an endorsement by Witspot.
