The FUOYE admission list for 2026/2027 can be checked through the university’s official admission-status service and JAMB CAPS. FUOYE’s current CASAPS portal carries a registration guide and a notice for newly admitted UTME candidates. However, the official sources reviewed for this update do not identify separate first, second and third undergraduate batches. Check your individual record before treating a social-media list as an offer.
A screening result, an application marked “CLEARED” and a confirmed admission offer mean different things. This guide explains where to check, how to respond to an offer and what to prepare for registration at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti.

How to check the FUOYE admission list on the school portal
Use FUOYE’s official CASAPS portal for the university status check. CASAPS means the Central Application, Screening, Admission and Payment System. It includes different programme routes, so read the session and programme attached to your own record.
- Choose the admission-status checker on the portal.
- Enter your application form number or JAMB registration number.
- Enter one of your registered names, using at least three letters as the checker requests.
- Submit the check and read the result for your own application.
- If an offer appears, use the student-login area and follow the registration instructions provided for your programme.
Type your registration number carefully. If the checker cannot find your record, compare the details with your application slip before assuming that FUOYE has rejected you. A missing record and an unsuccessful admission decision are not automatically the same problem.
The older eCampus page still contains notices for several programmes and earlier sessions. Do not assume that a part-time application announcement is a full-time UTME admission list. Start from the university’s current portal and select the service that matches your admission route.
How to check FUOYE admission status on JAMB CAPS
JAMB’s Central Admissions Processing System, usually called CAPS, is the other place to check a UTME or Direct Entry offer. Start from the official JAMB website and follow its E-Facility link. Our JAMB portal login guide explains the account-access process.
- Sign in to the JAMB account connected to your application.
- Open the admission-status service and select the relevant examination year where requested.
- Use your correct JAMB registration number and access the CAPS record.
- Read the institution, programme and admission status carefully.
- Follow the acceptance instructions currently attached to your offer, then check that JAMB records your response.
These are the general checking stages, rather than a promise that every account will show identical buttons. JAMB may update the interface or the way candidates confirm an offer. Follow the current instructions in your own record; do not use an old screenshot as the final authority.
If you cannot reach your account, recover access through JAMB’s official channels or seek help from an accredited centre. Do not give an agent unrestricted access to your email or let someone accept a different programme without your knowledge.
What FUOYE screening and admission statuses mean
FUOYE’s screening guidance distinguishes document clearance from admission consideration. “CLEARED” means the application has passed the relevant screening checks; “PROPOSED” means the candidate is being considered through the admission process. Neither label should be read as a completed JAMB offer on its own.
| Status or message | What to do |
| CLEARED on the screening application | Continue checking your admission records; clearance alone does not guarantee admission |
| PROPOSED on the screening application | Monitor the university and JAMB records for a confirmed decision |
| Admission in progress on CAPS | Keep checking and resolve any outstanding application issue; no reliable percentage predicts your outcome |
| Not admitted on CAPS | Review your details and current notices; this message alone does not explain the reason |
| An admission offer | Confirm the institution and course, respond through the authorised process and begin the required registration steps |
There is no verified statistical basis for treating “Admission in Progress” as a 90% chance of admission. An application status cannot supply a personal probability. Available places, qualifications and the university’s selection decision still matter.
First, second, third and merit admission batches
A batch is a group of offers announced together. It is not a separate application route or a guarantee that every eligible person will appear later. The official material reviewed for this page does not confirm named first, second or third FUOYE undergraduate lists for 2026/2027.
Therefore, use your own portal status even if another applicant says a particular batch is out. A screenshot may concern another course, programme or academic session. Likewise, a pre-degree admission announcement does not prove that every full-time undergraduate batch has been released.
The term “merit list” usually describes offers made under an institution’s selection criteria. Do not assume that it always means the first batch or that JAMB scores alone determine the list. FUOYE’s current notice and your admission record provide the relevant answer.
Why an applicant may not see an offer yet
An absent offer can have several explanations, but only the university or your application record can establish the reason in your case. Check the following points before asking someone to investigate:
- Confirm that the registration number, session and programme are correct.
- Check that you completed the required screening and submitted accurate information.
- Confirm that your O’Level subjects and grades match the programme requirements.
- Check that your UTME subjects and score meet the requirements for the course considered.
- Review any instruction about a proposed course change before responding.
- Read an actual rejection reason, if the portal provides one, rather than guessing from another person’s outcome.
FUOYE’s current screening portal specifically states that it will not admit candidates into Law for 2026/2027. Applicants affected by that notice need to follow the university’s instructions about available alternatives. Do not pay a third party to bypass a programme restriction.
An awaiting-result candidate also needs to distinguish starting an application from completing it. The portal says submission requires an uploaded O’Level result. Our FUOYE Post-UTME guide and FUOYE cut-off mark article cover the screening context; the current official programme requirement controls your eligibility.
After FUOYE admission: acceptance, documents and registration
First confirm that the offer belongs to you and shows the programme you are prepared to study. Then complete the response required by JAMB for your admission route. Retain a copy of the confirmed status and obtain the relevant admission letter when the official service makes it available.
FUOYE’s current registration guide directs admitted candidates to update their profile, complete the applicable payments, verify their results and obtain their university admission letter before continuing registration. Check each item against the instructions shown in your own dashboard.
Do not treat a screening payment as an acceptance payment, or a payment receipt as proof that admission has been granted. FUOYE’s portal warns some candidates about outstanding balances. The amount due depends on the applicable programme instructions; this article does not present one acceptance figure as universal.
- Keep your JAMB and university admission records.
- Prepare original academic certificates or the acceptable evidence requested for verification.
- Keep your birth certificate or other accepted age evidence ready where required.
- Save payment references and receipts in a place you can access again.
- Check that your names and result details agree across the documents.
- Follow the current registration, clearance and accommodation instructions before travelling.
Hostel payment is a separate matter from admission confirmation. Check whether accommodation is available and what the university requires before making any payment. Use our FUOYE school fees guide for context and the university dashboard for the actual charges assigned to you.
Also check the FUOYE resumption guide alongside the current notice for your student group. A date for returning students does not automatically apply to newly admitted candidates.
Frequently asked questions
Is the FUOYE admission list out for 2026/2027?
FUOYE currently provides an admission-status checker and registration instructions for newly admitted UTME candidates. The sources reviewed do not establish separate named undergraduate batches. Check your individual university and JAMB records for an offer.
Can I check without a public PDF list?
Yes. An individual portal result can show your admission decision without a public PDF containing every successful candidate. Use the official checker with the details attached to your application.
Does CLEARED mean I have gained admission?
No. FUOYE’s screening instructions say clearance does not guarantee admission. Continue to the actual university admission-status service and JAMB record instead of treating screening eligibility as an offer.
Does Not Admitted mean I should stop checking?
That message alone does not explain the cause or establish that another offer will come. Check the current session’s notices and resolve any documented application issue. Keep a realistic alternative plan rather than relying on a promised later batch.
Must I accept a proposed change of course?
Read the proposed programme and its requirements before making a decision. A course-change proposal and a final admission offer are different stages. Follow the current official instructions if you choose to proceed, and seek clarification if the records disagree.
Where can I find more help with checking?
Our school admission-status checking guide explains common checking problems. For a specific FUOYE record, use the help channel displayed on the university portal and include the details needed to identify the application, without sharing your password.
