HAFEDPOLY Admission List 2026/2027: ND and HND Updates

The HAFEDPOLY admission list for 2026/2027 is out, with HND and part-time ND entries available on the polytechnic’s official website. Select your session and programme to check your record. Full-time ND applicants should also check their individual JAMB admission status.

Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure, provides a session selector on its admission-list page. Choose the correct session before searching for your details. The sections below explain how to check, confirm an offer, prepare for screening and understand the published charges.

HAFEDPOLY Admission List 2026/2027: What Is Available?

The official list currently includes HND and part-time ND entries. This confirms that names are appearing for those routes; it does not establish that every programme has completed admission.

The institution’s homepage also advertises 2026/2027 applications and physical screening. An open application form, a screening notice and an admission offer serve different purposes. Submitting an application does not mean that the school has admitted you.

For an applicant, the key checks are straightforward: does the record belong to you, does it show the right programme, and does it cover your session? A list for another year cannot confirm your current admission.

If you previously used this page for 2023/2024, select that older session on the school’s list. The information below concerns the current 2026/2027 exercise. It does not treat old offers as new admissions.

How to Check the HAFEDPOLY Admission List on the School Website

You can search the public list without a student-portal account. This makes it useful for applicants and parents who want to confirm a published entry before obtaining registration access.

  1. Open the official HAFEDPOLY admission-list page.
  2. Find the Select Session menu and choose 2026/2027, or the older session you need.
  3. Click View Applicants to load the selected records.
  4. Look under the relevant course and programme type. Check whether the heading says HND, full-time ND or part-time ND.
  5. Search for your name or registration number using your browser’s Find option. On a computer, press Ctrl + F; on a phone, open the browser menu and choose Find in page.
  6. Compare the identifying details carefully before treating the entry as yours.

Searching by number can help when a name appears in a different order. Nevertheless, a similar name alone is not enough. Check the programme as well, especially when the school offers more than one route in the same subject.

If your name appears, keep a copy of the relevant record and proceed to the official screening process. A screenshot is useful for reference, but it does not replace the admission letter or required clearance documents.

Checking HND and Part-Time ND Admission

HND and part-time ND applicants should use the school’s records and application details for their own route. Do not assume that a full-time UTME status screen will show the outcome of a separate HND application.

The applicant portal accepts the examination number used during registration. The separate screening portal asks for a UTME or examination number and provides screening documents and an admission letter after a successful login.

Use the number attached to your application. If the portal cannot find it, compare it with your acknowledgment slip before contacting the school. Creating a second application merely to try another number could make the problem harder to resolve.

How to Check the HAFEDPOLY Admission List on JAMB CAPS

For full-time ND admission through UTME, check the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Central Admissions Processing System, usually called JAMB CAPS. This is a separate check from finding a name on the school website.

  1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
  2. Sign in with the email address and password linked to your JAMB profile.
  3. Open the admission-status service from your account dashboard.
  4. Where the portal requests them, select your examination year and enter your JAMB registration number.
  5. Access CAPS and open your admission-status record.
  6. Read the institution, course and offer status carefully before taking action.

Follow the labels shown in your account if the interface differs from an older screenshot. The public login page confirms the email-and-password login, but your private dashboard supplies the options available to your profile.

Also check that you are viewing the correct examination year. An older application may remain attached to the same profile, so choosing the wrong year can lead you to the wrong record.

Our JAMB portal login guide provides related account-access guidance. For a broader explanation of the process, see how to check school admission status.

First, Second and Third Batches of the HAFEDPOLY Admission List

Check the official list for your session to follow first, second and third batch updates. The school can add names as admission progresses, so use the entries displayed for your programme to check your own application.

A numbered batch identifies a particular release. A candidate’s CAPS status identifies the position of that individual application. Seeing an offer before a friend does not, by itself, prove that you belong to a named batch.

The official list indicates that more entries are coming. Check it regularly and follow any new instructions from the school. An additional release gives applicants another opportunity to check their records, but each candidate still needs an individual offer.

What Does a Merit List Mean?

A merit list generally refers to candidates selected under the institution’s merit criteria. It should not automatically be treated as another name for the first batch unless the school uses that description.

Likewise, a high UTME score alone does not prove admission. The applicant must meet the relevant academic conditions and receive an actual offer. Use the institution’s published wording when identifying a list.

What Your JAMB Admission Status Means

Your status tells you what action to consider next. Read it alongside the institution and course shown in your record, rather than relying on a message from another applicant.

Admitted or an Admission Offer Showing

An offer means you can review the admission and decide whether to accept it. First confirm that the course and institution match the offer you intend to take. Then complete the applicable acceptance procedure and keep the confirmation.

Admission in Progress

Admission in Progress is an encouraging sign that your application is moving through the admission process. Keep checking CAPS for the final decision. JAMB’s support guidance advises candidates to confirm their O’Level upload, the institution’s recommendation and any pending transfer proposal.

You can be hopeful when you see this status, but wait until CAPS shows an approved admission offer before completing acceptance or making admission-related payments.

Not Admitted

This means your record does not currently show an approved offer. While an admission exercise continues, it is sensible to check for missing information or a pending decision. It is not sensible to promise that the status will change.

Ask about your own application if the school has shortlisted you but CAPS still shows a different outcome. JAMB explains that institutional recommendation and its approval are part of the process; CAPS does not award places randomly.

How to Accept or Reject a JAMB Admission Offer

JAMB’s published acceptance procedure allows candidates to send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 from their registered phone line. It also provides a fingerprint-based route at an accredited CBT centre or JAMB office.

Check that an actual offer exists before sending a response. Accept only an offer you intend to take, and reject only when you understand the decision you are making. Afterwards, confirm the recorded outcome in your profile.

If you no longer have the registered line or cannot complete verification, seek help through JAMB’s official support channels. Do not let an agent decide whether to accept or reject on your behalf.

For HND or part-time ND admission, follow the acceptance instructions issued for your programme by HAFEDPOLY. A JAMB offer-acceptance procedure should not be substituted for a different institutional process.

Why Your Name May Be Missing From the HAFEDPOLY Admission List

A missing name does not identify the cause on its own. First rule out a checking error, then investigate any incomplete requirements. These checks can help:

  • Wrong session or route: make sure you selected your application year and programme type.
  • Incomplete O’Level record: full-time ND applicants should verify that their required results appear on JAMB’s system.
  • Pending recommendation: ask the admissions office whether it has processed your application.
  • A transfer proposal: check the Transfer Approval section of CAPS if the institution is considering a different course.
  • Academic requirements: compare your subjects and qualifications with the requirements for the actual programme.
  • Application errors: compare names and examination numbers across your slips and records.

JAMB states that it will not consider an institution’s recommendation when the candidate has not uploaded the required results. Uploading a document only to a school portal is therefore not a substitute for checking the relevant JAMB record.

Course requirements and available places also matter, but a missing name does not prove which condition affected you. Do not assume a catchment rule, a score problem or a full quota without evidence about your application.

When seeking help, have your application slip, examination number, programme and a description of the problem ready. Ask a specific question, such as whether a recommendation is pending or a document is missing. That gives the office something it can investigate.

What to Do After Checking the HAFEDPOLY Admission List

Confirm the offer, obtain the required letters and complete screening before registration. The school’s current notice places physical screening at the Admin Block, Main Campus, Kazaure. It gives a start date of September 15, 2026, with daily hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Prepare Your Screening Documents

The published checklist asks for original documents, including:

  • Indigene certificate.
  • O’Level results.
  • Birth certificate.
  • Medical fitness certificate from HAFEDPOLY Polyclinic.
  • JAMB result slip and admission letter, where applicable to your route.

HND candidates should also have their ND records ready and obtain the programme-specific instructions before travelling. The general checklist should not be read as proof that every route requires identical documents.

Print the school’s admission letter and screening documents through its screening portal. Keep names, examination numbers and programme details consistent across your paperwork. If something differs, resolve it before relying on the documents for clearance.

Understand the Published Registration Charges

HAFEDPOLY’s official 2026/2027 schedule lists these charges for local fresh students:

ChargePublished amount
Fresh ND registration₦35,000
Fresh HND registration₦38,000
Registration service charge₦1,500
Fresh-student screening₦2,000
Hostel fee₦18,750

Adding the stated registration service charge gives ₦36,500 for fresh ND registration and ₦39,500 for fresh HND registration. These calculations do not include screening, accommodation or other separately billed items.

The schedule does not identify a separate acceptance-fee amount. Do not rename the screening fee as an acceptance fee. Part-time and foreign-student categories have separate charges, so the two registration totals above should not be applied to everyone.

The school directs payments through Remita and asks students to retain receipts. Complete screening before registration, then use the official invoice for your category. If you want a hostel, confirm allocation and the payment instructions before treating accommodation as secured.

Complete Registration and Prepare for Resumption

Keep your letters, screening outcome and payment receipts together. Follow the school’s registration instructions, and check its academic calendar for the dates that apply to your programme.

The admissions number published on the homepage is 080 2738 8861. Use it to clarify screening arrangements or programme-specific requirements before travelling. Avoid treating an old resumption date as part of a new offer.

HAFEDPOLY Admission List FAQs

Can I Download the HAFEDPOLY Admission List as a PDF?

The official public list displays records online. You can save the page through your browser’s print function for reference. A browser-saved copy is not an admission letter; obtain your letter through the school’s screening portal.

Can Parents Check the List Without a Portal Account?

Yes. Parents can view the public session-based list without signing into an applicant account. However, private CAPS records require the candidate’s own access. Keep those account details confidential.

Will HAFEDPOLY Release More Names?

The official page says more entries are coming. Check the list for additions and follow the school’s announcements about subsequent releases. An expected update does not guarantee admission for every applicant.

What If the School Lists Me but CAPS Does Not Show Admission?

For full-time ND, check your O’Level upload, pending transfers and the school’s recommendation. Ask the admissions office about the mismatch rather than assuming that the two records have already reached the same stage.

Does Paying for an Application Mean I Have Admission?

No. Application payment allows you to complete the relevant application process. Admission requires an offer, and enrolment involves further screening and registration. Keep receipts, but do not treat them as admission letters.

Can I Use the Same Checking Method for ND and HND?

Use the method that matches your route. Full-time ND through UTME includes JAMB CAPS checking, while an HND applicant must check the institution’s HND outcome. Confirm the programme heading before drawing a conclusion.

Conclusion

Check the correct session and programme on HAFEDPOLY’s official list, then confirm your personal offer through the route that applies to you. If you have an offer, obtain your documents and complete screening before registration.
